  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds (lightly toasted and cooled, divided)
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil (or sunflower or olive oil)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil (optional)

    Toast the sesame seeds in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly for 3–5 minutes until lightly browned and fragrant. Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool.

    In the same skillet, add the spinach and 2 tablespoons of water. Sauté until the spinach is just wilted and tender, about 2–3 minutes.
