1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PantryBook ("the Service"), operated by MDG Labs ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PantryBook is a recipe management application that allows you to store, organize, and plan meals using recipes you upload. We use AI to extract recipe data from photos, PDFs, and text you provide.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all recipes, images, and data you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it back to you as part of the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

5. Intellectual Property

PantryBook™, the PantryBook logo, and all related branding are trademarks of MDG Labs. The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service without prior written consent from MDG Labs.

All content generated by the Service (including AI-extracted recipes, grocery lists, and meal plans) is provided for your personal use only and may not be redistributed commercially without permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: uploading illegal content, attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the Service, or using automated tools to scrape or overload the system.

7. Premium Subscription

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. AI Features

AI-extracted recipe data is provided as-is. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors. Always verify cooking temperatures, allergen information, and ingredient quantities before preparing food.

9. Family Sharing

The family sharing feature allows you to grant read-only access to your recipes. You are responsible for managing who has access to your content.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MDG Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
